What a fabulous last week of term!

In addition to the usual range of activities that take place on a weekly basis, this week has also included a number of other exciting events.

Tuesday

Our Year 4 and 5s had fun at the Seeds for Life project, while those children with excellent attendance were given the opportunity to make their own pizzas and cocktails courtesy of Frankie & Benny’s. A big thank you to them.

Tuesday afternoon combined the official opening of the archway in to ourSecretWildlifeGarden; our Summer Concert, where the School Choir and Penny Whistle Group performed; and the Summer Fair.

Wednesday

We welcomed Olivier Bernard, the Chair of the local Rotary Club, School Governors and others to our Attendance & Achievement Assembly. We recognised excellent attendance, progress and attainment and awarded the children for their continued hard work.

All children were rewarded with a fun afternoon; bouncy castles, games and ice cream!

Thursday

Year 1 went on a trip toSouth Shieldsbeach and what lovely weather it was too.

On Thursday afternoon the winners of an art competition held by Beachcroft Solicitors went along to view their framed work and receive a prize. Their art work is to be displayed at the Solicitor’s office next to St James Park.

Friday

At 9:30am this morning our Leaver’s Assembly took place. Laughter and tears are always guaranteed and it was no different this year!

All the best to our Year 6 children who are moving on to Secondary School.
