Reception visit the Police Stables
Some of our Reception Class have just returned from their visit to the Police Stables.
The Class Teacher, Mrs Irwin, has returned as excited as the children!
It was a fabulous visit during which the children heard all about the role of a Police horse and how it is cared for; fed the horses; entered a horse box; observed the Blacksmith changing the horse shoes and tried on some Police Uniform.
The second group are already looking forward to their visit tomorrow.
